Hi lovelies! To kind of add to the about me tag I thought i'd share something else and that is my love for nailart! Whenever I do have some spare time (which is kinda rare now that I work and go to uni) I love to get out my nail polishes and do my nails. I rarely go for the plain straight out of the bottle color, I always have to add a twist to it! ;) I started doing nail art when I was about 12 when my mom bought me my first striper nail polish and needless to say I went kinda crazy and started to experiment and now i'm completely obsessed! Here as some of the few nail arts that I have done..
Here all I used was a dark blue nails polish for the base color then with a striper I created a + shape onto the nail after that you add an X going through the + then just add a thinner line of red over the white.
Many people think that tribal nail designs are very difficult but in reality it can be really simple and still very cute! It's your choice whether to make it a complicated design or a simple design, I would say that mines in between. Also, you don't need expensive tools to create designs like these! Just use toothpicks, bobby pins, or even find a DIY nail art tool on youtube and voilĂ ! easy AND CHEAP ways to create pretty designs. For this particular design all I used was a striper (which are cheap if you go to Sally's Beauty Supply) and toothpicks!
Floral can be quite easy as well. For this design I used a bobby pin to create the colored part of the flowers (just a little circle) then I used a toothpick to create the leaves (a little triangle on either side of the circle) and to create the "inner part" of the flower.

I get inspiration from anywhere and everywhere! Look at some cool wallpaper or even a purse that might have a pretty design on it. I decided to make an Instagram a couple of months ago with all the nail art that I've created along with my sister and two other friends called sskvnails, so check out the link below for some nail inspiration! :)
